Recettear
Recettear is a Japanese indie (Doujin) game that combines RPG-style shopkeeping with dungeon crawling. First distributed at Comiket and then later translated into English by Carpe Fulgur. It gained popularity when it was put up for pre-order on digital distribution services, I.E. Steam, Impulse and GamersGate.
In it, you play as a young girl named Recette whose father has vanished and left her with a substantial debt. Luckily Tear, the fairy who comes to collect her debt, is lenient -- and, with her help, Recette opens an item shop and begins the difficult task of earning enough money to chip away at her debt.
You can get your own items by buying low and selling high in the shops, or head through dungeons to collect the most expensive items from monsters!
Either way, get the money!
