Recettear
Recettear is a Japanese indie game that combines RPG-style shopkeeping with dungeon crawling. First distributed at comiket and then later translated into English by Carpe Fulgurit gained popularity when it was put up for pre-order on digital distribution services, I.E. Steam, Impulse and GamersGate.
You start off as the young girl Recette in a small town who was abandoned by her father and is approached by a fairy from a finance company who demands she repay a debt left by her missing father. The fairy suggests that Recette start up an item shop.
You can get your own items by buying low and selling high in the shops, or head through dungeons to collect the most expensive items from monsters!
Either way, get the money!
