• This item's flavor text contains a reference to Nintendo's Power Glove, which was promoted in the movie The Wizard with the catch phrase "It's so bad."
• The text also refers to the old NES game Legacy of the Wizard. In this game, there was a Power Glove item that allowed one character to move boulders.
• The text probably also refers to the recurring item of the same name from Zelda: Link to the Past and Zelda: Oracle of Ages that allows Link to lift even heavier objects than the Power Bracelet will alone.
